Woodward Opens Northshore Office Location

Well-known New Orleans builder plants a flag for growth in Covington, Louisiana.

The 100-year New Orleans based construction firm, Woodward Design+Build, has added a new address to their list of locations. In addition to their headquarters office, they’ve now set up residence in the Northpark Office Park at 106 Park Place, Suite 300, Covington, Louisiana.

“As a 17-year resident of Mandeville, I am excited to be a part of the growth of my community, as well as the growth along the I-12 corridor. The new office offers our local clients a convenient and accessible location to engage Woodward’s services”, says Lane Louque, the firm’s Senior Vice President of Operations. Lane expects the additional office will support the firm’s growing number of Northshore employees and their desire for more St. Tammany and Tangipahoa parish projects. “Additionally, Woodward is aware that post pandemic employee needs have shifted drastically, which now necessitates additional office locations.   Woodward embraces finding ways to create supportive work environments for employees that foster efficiency and productivity, while also being conducive to a high quality of life”, says Lane.

Currently Woodward is working on a $30 million renovation to St. Tammany Parish Hospital, and past project include Covington’s Southern Hotel, and the Mandeville Walker Motors Volkswagen. In addition to the Covington location, Woodward operates a 20,000 square foot architectural millwork facility located in Goodbee. “Woodward making the decision to open a Northshore office shows that they care for their employees. It allows for more family time by cutting the work commute from 2 hours per day down to 20 minutes per day”, says Royce Girouard, Project Manager and Northshore resident.
