Woodward CEO Paul Flower has been named to the Power 20 List by New Orleans CityBusiness. The Power 20 List recognizes leaders in the construction industry known for their influence and innovation.

“Paul Flower has been described as a builder and engineer at heart. Backed by his deep expertise in construction management, civil engineering and real estate development, Flower has worked for Woodward Design+Build for over 50 years. Since becoming CEO in 1987, he has grown the business to include millwork and steel divisions, with over 225 employees and annual revenues of over $200 million. Under Flower’s leadership, the company became an early adopter of the design-build model of delivering construction projects, and he has championed sustainable building and virtual design and construction methods.
Most recently, the firm served as developer and construction manager on the $400 million redevelopment of the World Trade Center building on Canal Street into the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences. Paul draws on his deep understanding of the history, culture, the dynamics, and the topography of City of New Orleans and applies his design and construction knowledge to every project he takes on.”
