Our Work

833 Howard Avenue

Woodward renovated the former 7-story office tower, known as the Howard Triangle Building, and converted it into 15 luxury apartments.

Woodward Design+Build served as general contractor, in partnership with Trapolin-Peer Architects, on the renovation of 833 Howard Avenue. Woodward renovated the former 7-story office tower, known as the Howard Triangle Building, and converted it into 15 luxury apartments. The existing wood floors were salvaged or replaced prior to construction, providing a historic element in each of the 1- and 2- bedroom apartments. To facilitate a new elevator and stair system, Woodward erected a 7-story steel tower that was tied into the building.
In a neighborhood bordering the Central Business District and the Warehouse District, the completed renovation has added residential activity and ground floor restaurant space to downtown New Orleans.
