Woodward Design+Build served as general contractor for the 3rd floor and 6th floor buildout of Ochsner Baptist hospital in early 2017. The resulting space features 3 nurses stations, a multi-purpose area that doubles as a classroom or conference room and 39 patient rooms, which are comprised of 26 Med-Surg and 13 antepartum rooms.

The Woodward team worked quickly and diligently on this project, despite challenges including construction changes to the design and layout of rooms well after construction began. Undeterred, the team successfully completely renovated all three areas in the time contractually required to complete only two. Elevators were completed nearly three months ahead of schedule. The result is a modern, inviting space that is just as comfortable as it is functional.
