Laitram Wet Test Expansion
Woodward served as the design-builder on another expansion at the Laitram Corporate campus in Elmwood, creating a new testing space and showcasing area for seafood processing products.
Woodward Design Group carefully designed a space to fit the equipment needs of Laitram Machinery and created seamless tie-ins to an existing building on the Elmwood corporate campus. The new space allows potential customers to visit the Wet Test building to see how each machinery component works together on a processing line for peeling, cleaning, steaming, and packaging shrimp. In addition to acting as a showroom, the facility acts as a testing center for the development of new machines and new production line formats for Laitram Machinery.
