Gary Middleton has been a long-time, dedicated employee of Woodward for over 45 years. Joining Woodward in 1974, he worked as a carpenter helper and has risen in ranks to his current position as Woodward Millwork Group’s Division Manager. In his role, Gary provides leadership, direction and oversight to every aspect of his division from sales and estimating to drafting, fabrication and installation. When asked what Gary enjoys most about his work he states, “Each job that we are awarded is different and has its own challenges throughout the job from start to completion. Knowing our team did it’s best to deliver a first class product that the owner will be proud of and giving us repeat business. I love doing jobs that have different types of millwork throughout the building – it gives our entire team a challenge.”
Recent projects that Gary is most proud of include the Hancock Whitney build out at the Hancock Whitney Center (formerly One Shell Square), The New Orleans Saints and Pelicans Training Facilities, Ochsner’s Benson Cancer Center, The Dixie Brewery, The Standard at South Market and the Louisiana Children’s Museum in City Park.
Some of Woodward Millwork Group’s largest projects include The Four Seasons Hotel and Residences, and University Medical Center Development which included p-lam cabinets, headwalls, and solid surface tops totaling to $11 million in value.
