He ensures design excellence by maintaining industry standards while staying at the forefront of emerging trends and technologies.
With over 30 years of experience, Erik has played a pivotal role in shaping Woodward’s healthcare and Gulf Coast projects, specializing in conceptual design, master planning, new construction, and complex multiphase renovations. He excels at presenting design options for analysis, guiding owners through the design review process, and facilitating value management decisions.
A LEED Accredited Professional, Erik is committed to sustainable design, integrating energy-efficient strategies and life cycle cost analysis to ensure the long-term functionality and environmental responsibility of every project. His expertise has been instrumental in delivering sustainable, high-performance buildings.
Since joining Woodward in 2010, Erik has served as Architect of Record on several landmark projects, including the historic renovation of the NOPSI Hotel, Delgado River City Campus, and Woodward’s LEED Gold-certified headquarters. His leadership continues to shape transformative, enduring design solutions.
