From an early age, Andrew was captivated by the natural world, exploring the woods and creeks of Indiana, identifying trees, and hunting fossils. These childhood experiences sparked his lifelong curiosity about systems and relationships, and the profound interconnectedness of the world around him. Whether holding an acorn or rubbing blue clay between his fingers, Andrew was always seeking to understand and admire the broader systems at play. His passions for nature, history, and art are rooted in a deep respect for context and lineage, and he approaches every new project as part of a continuous whole, where each contribution builds upon what has come before.
A well-rounded designer with five years of experience, Andrew has developed a diverse portfolio across a wide range of typologies, including master planning, mixed-use developments, healthcare, industrial, housing, and hospitality. His expertise extends beyond architectural drawing development to include close collaboration with industry partners and regulatory agencies, particularly in navigating complex processes like historic tax credit incentives, adaptive reuse design, and sustainability goals.
One of Andrew’s key contributions has been his role in the development of the Ochsner Neuroscience Center, a large medical office building that integrates cutting-edge design with functional needs in the neuroscience field of medicine. His thoughtful approach to systems thinking, project coordination, and problem-solving is helping to bring this complex project to life, addressing the unique challenges of medical facility design while ensuring it met sustainability and client goals.
Andrew believes that realizing the highest potential of each project is both a challenge and a rewarding experience—one that brings excitement and satisfaction to the client. By staying true to his passion for context and thoughtful design, he ensures that each project is not only functional but also inspiring, creating spaces that support both current needs and future growth.
