New Woodward Project in Canton, Mississippi
Woodward is delivering engineering and structural steel services on the new mega-site for Clark Beverage in Canton, Mississippi.
Woodward is proud to provide structural engineering and structural steel services on the new 400,000 square foot Project Joy Sales and Distribution Center facility for Clark Beverage. The company broke ground on the mega site located in Canton, Mississippi on June 13, 2023.

Woodward Engineering Group is working under BW Design Group to provide foundation and structural engineering services to support this 60-acre development.
Woodward Steel Group, also working under Design Group, is installing the structural steel system for Project Joy. The facility consists of a 315,000 sf warehouse with approximately 50,000sf of attached support buildings, and a 27,500 sf two story attached office building. It contains approximately 800 tons of structural steel, 870 tons of joists and girders, and 4,000 squares of metal roof decking.
Woodward’s scope of work is expected to be completed by May 2024, with the new facility to be completed in the first quarter of 2025.
We will continue to share the progress as we move this project forward for Clark Beverage, Madison County Economic Development Authority, and the Mississippi Development Authority.
