Four Seasons New Orleans wins Project of the Year
Woodward and AECOM Tishman win for Project of the Year in ENR’s Texas and Louisiana awards program.
Woodward and joint venture partner AECOM Tishman were awarded with “Project of the Year” at ENR’s Texas and Louisiana Best Projects Awards Luncheon held in Houston, Texas on October 13.
Each year, ENR opens their call for Best Projects in Texas and Louisiana in a multitude of categories. Of the projects that win in their given category, they are then entered into the overall Best Projects program which is kept confidential until officially announced at the awards event.
This year, members of the Woodward and AECOM Tishman team were thrilled to attend the Awards Luncheon in Houston to to accept the award for Best Project in the Renovation/Restoration category for the Four Seasons New Orleans. The team was even more thrilled to hear their project won for the overall Best Project. Lee Currault, the Project Executive over the job, accepted the award remarking, “We look forward to getting back home and sharing this award with the balance of our project team, our designers and trade partners, thank you ENR!”.
We are honored to bring this regional award from a national industry publication and news source to a New Orleans project. We share this award with our joint venture partner, AECOM Tishman, and the dozens of design and engineering consultants that contributed to this complex rehabilitation project. And finally, we could not have executed this project without the hundreds of dedicated tradesmen and women from our subcontractor partners who contributed their skills to deliver this high-quality, luxury flagship hotel.
