We proudly celebrate Layne’s 10-year anniversary with Woodward—a decade marked by dedication, leadership, and lasting contributions to the built environment of New Orleans.

Among Layne’s most notable accomplishments are The Standard and The Odeon—two major projects in the South Market District, completed back-to-back with Domain Companies. Serving as both preconstruction manager and estimator, Layne helped guide these architecturally significant buildings from concept through completion, working closely with top-tier design teams and managing strict budgets through continuous value engineering.

As a strong believer in the power of integrated project delivery and LEAN construction, Layne is also an active leader in the NOLA LEAN Community of Practice, helping push the industry forward with smarter, more collaborative building approaches.

Outside the office, Layne finds joy in New Orleans’ world-class food scene, live music, and global travel—always seeking inspiration and perspective beyond the jobsite.
