Breaking Ground on the Future: Loop Linen Service Invests in the Next Century of Business

Learn how Woodward’s Built for Business (B4B) approach is helping Loop Linen Service optimize operations and prepare for future growth with a new 62,000-square-foot commercial laundry facility in Jefferson Parish.

On June 24, 2026, Woodward Design+Build joined Loop Linen Service, Jefferson Parish leaders, JEDCO, Bonvenu Bank, and community partners to celebrate the groundbreaking of Loop Linen Service’s new 62,000-square-foot commercial laundry facility in Avondale, Louisiana.

For Woodward, this project represents exactly what our Built for Business (B4B) approach is designed to achieve—helping established companies create facilities that improve operations, support employees, and position their businesses for long-term growth.

Founded in 1929, Loop Linen Service has served businesses throughout Louisiana and Mississippi for nearly a century. As the company continues to grow, it recognized the need for a purpose-built facility that would increase production efficiency, enhance workflow, and provide room for future expansion while remaining rooted in Jefferson Parish.

Rather than treating design and construction as separate phases, Woodward’s integrated architecture, engineering, and construction professionals have collaborated from day one to align the facility with Loop Linen Service’s operational goals. By bringing every discipline together under one roof, our team is able to evaluate building systems, production flow, site logistics, constructability, and budget simultaneously—resulting in faster decision-making and greater value throughout the project.

The new facility represents a $25.1 million investment in Jefferson Parish, including a $16.4 million building, while retaining 125 local jobs and strengthening one of the region’s longest-standing family-owned businesses. Beyond supporting Loop Linen Service’s continued success, the project also contributes to the long-term economic vitality of the West Bank through strategic infrastructure improvements that will encourage future development.

As a company with more than a century of history ourselves, we understand the importance of investing in facilities that serve not only today’s needs but the next generation of business. We’re honored to partner with Loop Linen Service on this milestone project and look forward to delivering a facility that helps them continue serving customers for decades to come.

At Woodward, that’s what Built for Business means—creating integrated solutions that strengthen operations, support growth, and build lasting value.
